Rising fuel prices, changes in energy markets, and concern for the environment make it necessary to develop new solutions technologies. The development of technologies brings with need take risks associated unpredictable consequences, technological immaturity, other issues. However, without these elements, is not possible. In this study, installations related two different technologies—Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) Carbon Capture, Utilization, Storage (CCUS)—are reviewed. An Enhanced a technology exploiting stored hot dry rocks. an important reducing CO2 emissions. combination CO2–EGS systems can bring significant environmental benefits. This paper reviews most CCUS EGS world form baseline similar, future investment Poland.
